Is my lover pregnant or is this a side-effect of Postinor emergency contraceptive pills? #640/12

My lover and I had an unprotected sex on the 11th of June 2012 around 3:30 AM.  I gave her water immediately that contained some salt and later she took Postinor1 (2 pills) around 9 AM in the morning. Her last menstrual period was the 21st of May and her next period should be the 17th of June, but she hasn't seen it and today is June 18th, although, she thinks that she ovulated on the 4thof June. She has a standard cycle of 28 days. She's really afraid and mad at me because I lured her into it.  I'm afraid too! Is she really pregnant or a side-effect of the drug? Please, what's the solution?  This is urgent.

The time in the cycle that you had intercourse makes it fairly UNLIKELY that the sexual intercourse you described will cause a pregnancy.

Wait until about 12 days after the 11th, that is until the 23rd of June and have her do a sensitive urine pregnancy test and I believe that it will be negative.  She and you can repeat the test in another week, just to be sure.

I always appreciate the man who is writing in with an important contraceptive question.  Thank you!

Be sure to let us know what happens. PLEASE!

What did the pregnancy test show?  We really want to know.

Maybe the third time will be the charm, is that very important person in your life pregnant or not?
