Are Cyclofemina or Lunelle injections available in the United States? #208/9
I'm from Brazil and I use Cyclofemina as a birth control shot for a few years now. I always take the shot on the 26th of every month. This month, hoverver, I will be in the US for a bussiness trip from Feb 21 to Mar 02. Could I take the shot in the US?

Will I need a prescription from my doctor here in Brazil it or something like that? I hear Lunelle (a similar medication) is no longer available in the US. Is that true?

You are right, Lunelle is, unfortunately, no longer available in the United States.  Cyclofemina has never been available here.

You could get your next injection in Brazil and get someone here in the United States to give it to you.  Many women from other countries that have the once-a-month shot have come to the US with multiple doses of the once-a-month injection in hand and have done just this.

Key Words:  Cyclofemina, Brazil, birth control shot, prescription, United States, Implanon, available, once-a-month shot
